Duration of study: 4 years


Students will study in Malaysia for the whole undergraduate program in their chosen field of study, and after completing the credits in 3 or 4 years, they will be able to get the undergraduate degree certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education of China's Service for Staying in the Country. At the same time, the Institute of China-Malaysia International Education (ICI Teaching Center) assigns Chinese teaching assistants to provide students with immediate tutoring, academic and career planning.

UPM's Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program has been established since 1996 and is the only MLA program that is accredited by the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM).UPM's MLA program is taught by qualified and experienced lecturers as well as professional assistants from renowned landscape architectural firms from within and outside of the Klang Valley.


The UPM Master of Architecture is a 65-credit postgraduate program. It is a professional degree program that is equivalent to the professional qualification of Part 2 of the Malaysian Board of Architects (LAM). The program is a continuation of the LAM Part 1 qualification, which is currently being addressed by the UPM Bachelor of Science in Architecture program. One of the objectives of the program is to produce well-rounded, competent and highly skilled architectural graduates in the field of architecture, which will lead to career opportunities in design, project management, research, academia and related construction industries. Architectural graduates of UPM's Master of Architecture will be on the right path to become registered professional architects with the Malaysian Board of Architects (LAM).


The Master of Tropical Urban Design (MTUD) is a three-semester program designed to provide advanced coursework focused on tropical and subtropical regions. The program has a strong foundation in ecological, social and economic sustainability that serves as a basis for planning and design. It also emphasizes skills in communicating and collaborating with local communities and professional groups. The program combines workshops, lectures, tutorials, and regional and local trips.

2.Successful completion of all courses and credits assigned by the instructor within the time frame established by the Office of Graduate Studies; 


3.At the end of the program, students must submit a project paper based on the research conducted. The project paper must have a minimum grade of C+.

The Master of Sustainable Landscape Management (MSLM) is inherently interdisciplinary, focusing on landscape sustainability, technology and human well-being as reflected in current national and international thinking. Its goal is to provide students with theoretical, technical, professional skills and knowledge in sustainable landscape management and maintenance, landscape ecology, environmental technology, law, risk management and economics.


Engineering management involves the design, improvement and implementation of integrated systems of people, materials, information, equipment and energy. It utilizes specialized knowledge and skills in the mathematical, physical, and social sciences, as well as the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design, to specify, predict, and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems.


The Master of Science in Environmental Engineering is designed to provide professionals with knowledge of environmental pollution problems and their amelioration. It prepares professionals with knowledge and skills in environmental control and management and in solving environment related problems. M.Sc. in Environmental Technology Management aims to prepare professionals to adopt a holistic approach to systematic monitoring, control and management of environmental waste resources in line with the future vision of the country. It covers topics related to various environmental pollution such as water and wastewater, land, solid, sound and air pollution.


The Master of Innovation and Engineering Design program at Universiti Putra Malaysia aims to provide engineers with the latest advanced technologies applied to industry and engineering work. The design courses offered here aim to educate engineers with the knowledge and skills to analyze, improve and develop new designs that will increase the productivity and quality of products for the benefit of society and industry.


The Master of Science in Structural Engineering and Construction is designed to provide exposure and in-depth theoretical knowledge in structural engineering and construction management. The program consists of core and elective courses focusing on structural design and analysis and two interesting construction management courses.


The Master of Science in Communications Engineering is designed to deepen the understanding and application of communications engineering, with a focus on two areas of emphasis: wireless and photonic communications. Courses offered emphasize communications at all levels, such as devices, systems, transmission, networks, and standards in both fields. Both wireless and photonic technologies are high-impact research areas that can support many applications in a variety of fields, including agriculture, communications, and sensing.


The M.S. in Power Engineering is designed to deepen the understanding and application of power engineering, with a focus on two key areas: power systems and high voltage. The program focuses on various aspects of power engineering such as smart grid systems, motor design, transient protection, insulation coordination, power systems and high voltage engineering.
