Universiti Saints Malaysia (UsM), or simply “PolyU”, was established in 1969. Universiti Saints Malaysia is the second national university in Malaysia and one of the five research-intensive universities in Malaysia. PolyU has gained an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research and for its commitment to sustainable development. It has been selected by the Ministry of Education as an APEX (Advancement to Excellence) university and has been designated by the United Nations University (UNU) as one of the Regional Centers for Technical and Professional Education for Sustainable Development.
The campus of University of Science Malaysia (USM) is a large and beautiful one, known as the “Garden University of Asia”. The University of Science Malaysia has a large campus with a beautiful environment, known as the “Garden University of Asia”. It has three campuses, namely the Main Campus (Penang), Engineering Campus and Medical Campus, covering an area of 15,000 acres, with a total of 28 faculties and 26 research centers, each of which provides students with excellent hardware facilities, high-quality international courses and a pleasant learning environment.

The tuition fee includes registration fee, teaching materials and lectures fee, international student management fee, University public resources use fee and instruction fee. Self-payment includes visa fee, insurance fee, living expenses during study, accommodation fee, transportation fee, water and electricity fee after entering Malaysia. The Student Medical card can be used in designated hospitals (free within the insurance limit, at your own expense). Student ID card allows free use of campus library, computer room and other facilities. The dormitory area is secured 24 hours a day with an access control system and a dedicated administrator. The campus closed circuit monitoring system covers the whole school 24 hours a day.
