Southeast Asian universities organized a symposium on returning graduate and doctoral student representatives

On the afternoon of July 25, the Thailand project team of HKUST High-tech Education Group held an exchange symposium at the University of Southeast Asia. Some student representatives who went to Thailand to study for master's and doctoral degrees were organized by teacher Wu Hanghang, Teacher Du Fei, Teacher Yang Xin and Teacher Li Xiaoyang to talk about their life and study in Thailand. The work deployment plan was also made for carrying out inter-university international academic exchanges in the next stage and paving the way for more students to study in Thailand.

At the meeting, Teacher Du Fei and Teacher Yang Xin first introduced the basic situation of the representatives of master and doctoral students, in order to promote mutual familiarity and understanding.

The students reported on their recent study and life in Southeast Asian University in Thailand, and exchanged and discussed topics such as shopping around the campus, Thai phone card processing, 24-hour registration, Thai driving test, visa transfer and renewal. From the overall view of the exchange and discussion, the students in Thailand agreed that the campus environment of Southeast Asian universities is beautiful, the infrastructure construction of teaching hardware and software is complete, the teachers are serious, the course arrangement is reasonable, and the international education Center and the members of the Thailand project team have excellent service quality, which has been unanimously recognized by the students in Thailand.

Subsequently, Teacher Wu Hanghang and Teacher Li Xiaoyang made a comprehensive and in-depth interpretation and sharing with the students on the topics of Dr. Taishuo's recent academic planning, study examination, internship, thesis writing, thesis publication, graduation requirements, post-graduation employment and further study, so as to make the students more clear about the goals and tasks of the next stage.

The members of the Thailand project team also answered and solved the problems and difficulties encountered by Dr. Taishuo in his study and life one by one, and told everyone to strengthen physical exercise, strengthen communication and exchange, actively participate in various teaching practices while earnestly completing his study, actively carry out international academic exchanges between schools, and do a good job of their own safety protection to ensure the successful completion of his study.

After the meeting, the student representatives in Taishubo took a group photo with the teachers. Members of the Thai project team also made arrangements for the next stage of work, and said that they would go all out to do a good job for students to study abroad and comprehensively promote the rapid and steady development of various projects in Southeast Asian universities.
