Teaching and Learning on Tour! Academic & Cultural Discovery in Bangkok, Thailand

Diversified and rigorous academic atmosphere, lush campus scenery, inclusive and innovative international classroom, fragrant seasonal fruits ...... On March 15, the Thailand Study Tour from Xi'an Modern Vocational High School entered the University of Southeast Asia on Pikka Seng Road, Bangkok, and the students were able to learn more about the cultural heritage of Thailand in their visit and exchange. “The students visited and exchanged ideas and gained an in-depth understanding of the cultural heritage of Thailand.

After arriving at Southeast Asian University, the group was guided by the Chinese tutor of China-Thailand International Research Institute of Xi'an University of Science and Technology High-Tech College, and successively visited each college building of SAU, felt the bilingual teaching environment in the classroom, and went into the library to feel the campus temperament of SAU.

After the detailed introduction by the teachers of the Institute, the group actually broadened their academic horizons and gained a real understanding of different disciplines and specialties as well as the study life in Thailand.

After the campus visit, the representatives of Chinese students studying at SAU held a joyful exchange meeting with the students of the study tour group, in which the seniors shared their unforgettable learning and living experiences as well as the joy of getting a perfect GPA one after another. The students from Xi'an were impressed by the richness and colorfulness of their study abroad life, as well as the green campus and strong teaching atmosphere of SAU.

“During the study tour, food is also a must-have, as it is full of fresh flavors and seasonal food. At night in Bangkok, when the lights are on, the group went to the Bangkok World Market (BWM). The group went to the World Market in Bangkok to immerse themselves in the Thai market culture and the local customs of Thailand. In the famous seafood restaurant adjacent to the SAU campus, the group enjoyed Thai food and realized the cultural atmosphere of a place through the enjoyment of taste buds.

The way of learning is also in the accumulation of footsteps. The one-day SAU study tour not only provides students with colorful academic and cultural experiences, but also adds to the understanding between Chinese students and Thai universities. This study tour is a successful practice under the framework of China-Thailand permanent visa-free policy, which deepens the mutual understanding and friendship between the youth of the two countries, and builds a solid bridge for the economic and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
